October 2, Fineko/abc.az. Fraudulent investment and financial offers have recently spread on social media.

ABC.AZ reports that according to ICT specialist Araz Mustafa, the main audience of financial scammers are social networks.

He added that scammers can attract young users, the older generation, citizens with little financial knowledge or job seekers through the platform. They use social media data analytics to find such people.

The Inspector General of the Internal Affairs Ministry's press service, Elbrus Ibragimov, noted that citizens should be more attentive and not believe false promises.

It was noted that citizens should contact specialists in this field to obtain information about more reliable investment or credit opportunities.
