October 2, Fineko/abc.az. One of the ambitious projects is the electrification of public transport.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Rahman Hummetov, the Deputy Minister of Digital Development & Transport of Azerbaijan, as saying this at the panel on the theme "Zero Emissions Shipping, Freight Logistics and Transport".

The deputy minister said that 160 such buses will be delivered next month, and of course this number will increase in the following months: "Both state and private companies are working in this direction. The number of charging points will also increase."
