September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Kamala Harris said that if elected president of the United States, she intends to "encourage innovative technologies like AI and digital assets with consumer and investor protection", ABC.AZ reports, referring to Bloomberg.

The mentioned directions correspond to her ideas about the "economy of opportunities".

"We’ll work together to invest in America's competitiveness, to invest in America's future. [...] There will be a safe business environment with consistent and transparent rules of the road," she said.

Harris spoke about cryptocurrencies for the first time as a Democratic presidential candidate, the agency noted.

Uniswap Labs CEO Hayden Adams called such a step a positive signal.
