September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2024, Azerbaijan imported vehicles and spare parts for $1.48 bn ($224.645 million, or 13.2% less versus Jan-Aug 2023), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

Over the past 8 months, the import of vehicles and their parts made up 11.61% of Azerbaijan's total imports.

For Jan-Aug 2024, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $30.995 bn. Of the foreign trade turnover, $18.232 bn accounted for exports and $12.764 bn for imports. Over the last 1 year, exports reduced by 25.1%, while imports increased by 14.5%.
