August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Hybrid electric car sales in the European Union (EU) surged by a remarkable 25.7% in July, even as sales of battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles experienced significant declines of 10.8% and 14.1% respectively, compared to the same period last year.

ABC.AZ reports that this shift in consumer preferences comes as the EU auto market, led by key players like Italy, Germany, and Spain, recorded its highest sales figures since July 2019, with a 4.3% increase compared to the same month in the previous year.
