August 21, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July of this year, 434,651 tons of transit freight were transported by railways through the territory of Azerbaijan within the framework of the North-South Corridor, Azerbaijan Railways LLC informs.

According to the information, in January-July of this year, a 25% increase was recorded in the transit cargo transportation through the North-South Corridor compared to the corresponding period last year.

"Transit goods were transported along the Astara-Yalama and Yalama-Astara directions of the corridor passing through Azerbaijan", - is stated in the information.
