July 26, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, travel on domestic railway routes is possible with an electronic identity card.

ABC.AZ reports with a link to ADY that an e-ID used after registration on portal My.gov.az is equivalent to the original physical ID.

From now on, information confirming the ID can be obtained in the form of a QR code, which is enough to bring to the validator of the explorer.

The integration of the railway into the new system simplifies and speeds up the process of boarding the train, and allows to continue traveling even if you do not have a physical ID.
