July 12, Fineko/abc.az. Tesla Inc. is postponing the planned presentation of the robotaxi for October to give the project team additional time to build prototypes, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Bloomberg.

Amid the Bloomberg report, the value of Tesla shares decreased by 8.4%.

The head of Tesla, Elon Musk, shared the idea of creating a robotaxi back in 2016.

In April 2024, Elon Musk hinted at the upcoming announcement of a new platform.

At that, Reuters, citing sources in Tesla, informed that the company had refused from development of affordable electric vehicles worth about $25,000, the release of which Musk had promised for a long time. Musk himself denied this message through his page on X, which belongs to him.
