July 9, Fineko/abc.az. According to the requirements of Roskomnadzor, Apple has blocked 25 mobile applications of VPN services hosted in the Russian App Store.

Earlier, the media reported that at the request of Roskomnadzor, Apple removed a number of VPN clients from the Russian App Store.

Since March 1, 2024, Russia has banned the dissemination of information on the Internet that advertises or popularizes means of circumventing locks to access illegal content.

"According to the requirements of Roskomnadzor, Apple has blocked 25 mobile applications of VPN services hosted in the Russian App Store," Roskomnadzor said in a statement.
