July 8 list, Fineko/abc.az. The Dacia Sandero hatchback became the sales leader among passenger cars on the European market.

ABC.AZ reports that 117,300 Dacia Sandero cars were sold in 43 European countries (41.5% more versus the 2023 same term).

Top 3 also includes Renault Clio (111,500 cars) and Volkswagen Golf (111,000 cars).

The 4th and 5th places are occupied by Volkswagen T-Roc (94,900 cars) and Citroen C3 (94,000 cars).

Top 10 also  consists of Dacia Duster, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Yaris, Tesla Model Y and Opel Corsa. Less than 80,000 of these models were sold.

The European market is the 3rd largest automotive market in the world after the Asian and American ones. In 2023, 16.7 million new cars were sold in Europe.
