EU imposes duties of up to 37.6% on Chinese electric vehicles

July 4, Fineko/abc.az. From July 4, the European Union will impose import duties of up to 37.6% on electric vehicles from China, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the statement of the European Commission.

"The European Commission has introduced preliminary anti-dumping duties on electric vehicles from China," the European Commission said.

It is specified that the amount of duties for major automakers will range from 17.4% to 37.6% of the cost of their products.

These duties were introduced based on the results of an investigation into countering "illegal subsidies", which lasted nine months.
