July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from this month, a container block train departs daily from the Chinese city of Xi'an to Baku along the Middle Corridor, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
The first train loaded with household goods, cars and spare parts is expected to arrive in Baku in about 12 days, passing through Kazakhstan and the Caspian Sea.
Deliveries from Xi'an began on January 1, 2024. As a result of continuous and effective actions aimed at expanding the potential of the Middle Corridor, these shipments have been carried out daily since July 1.
Household goods, cars and spare parts from China are transported along the Middle Corridor, the total travel time is about 12 days.
