July 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 6 months, 1,725,350 passengers used QR tickets at Baku Metro CJSC, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the company.

In June 2024, the number of QR ticket users grew by 66.6% agaisnt May (447,237 passengers) and reached 745,138 passengers.

The average daily number of passengers using this payment method in the subway exceeded the mark of 20,000 – 24,838 passengers.

The largest number of passengers for the month was registered on June 28 and reached 38,890 people in one day.
