July 1, Fineko/abc.az. At the meeting of the Tariff Council, tariffs for some goods and services, the prices of which are regulated by the state, were revised.

ABC.AZ reports that in addition to gasoline and diesel fuel, bus rides and plane tickets, prices for the collection and transportation of solid household waste (garbage) were considered.

According to Tariff Council’s decision, taking into account the level of technical equipment and disinfection services for the collection, transportation and disinfection of solid household waste, new tariffs were approved as follows:

Around the city of Baku:

- For a group of people – 1 manat per person per month (including VAT).

- For commercial consumers - 15 manats per 1 cubic meter or 68.30 manats per 1 ton (including VAT).

- For institutions or companies that hand over solid household waste for disposal: 3.60 manats per 1 cubic meter or 16.40 manats per 1 ton.

For other regions:

- For a group of the population – 0.70 manats per person per month (including VAT).

- For commercial consumers - 12 manats per 1 cubic meter or 54.60 manats per 1 ton (including VAT).

- For institutions or companies that hand over solid household waste for disposal: 2.50 manats per 1 cu m or 11.50 manats per 1 ton.
