Georgia imported 48,000 tons of automobile fuel from Azerbaijan in 5 months

June 28, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia imported 502,100 tons of gasoline and diesel fuel for Jan-May of this year (14.4% more against Jan-May 2023), informs the Association of Importers of Petroleum Products of Georgia.

The country imported 251,600 tons of gasoline. The volume of imported diesel fuel reached 250,500 tons.

Russia accounted for 52.2%, or 261,900 tons of fuel imported by Georgia.

Bulgaria became the second country importing fuel in Georgia – 73,600 tons. Romania is in 3rd place with 55,900 tons, and Azerbaijan - 4th place with 48,000 tons.

Georgia imported 26,900 tons of fuel from Belarus, 13,900 tons from Turkmenistan, 11,200 tons from Greece, 2,100 tons from Türkiye.
