June 13, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, it will be possible to drive a small electric vehicle from the age of 14.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, it is proposed to amend the Law on Road Traffic.

According to the amendments, a small electric vehicle has been added to the list with the right to drive vehicles on the roads in Azerbaijan since the age of 14, in addition to bicycles.

A small electric vehicle is a personal mobile vehicle equipped with an electric motor with capacity of no more than 1 kW, designed to carry one person and meeting a number of criteria (for example, the maximum mass without a driver is 55 kg, height - up to 1.40 m, length - up to 2 m, etc.)

Scooters, which have become popular in Azerbaijan in recent years, are considered one of these vehicles.
