June 5, Fineko/abc.az. The implementation of highway projects in the occupation-liberated territories of Azerbaijan will be finished by 2026.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan that this was announced by Kamran Azizov, the head of the Main Department of Operation & Repair of Highways.

He noted that the action plan on "I State Program of Great Return to the occupation-liberated territories envisages 20 highway projects and drilling, earthworks in connection with the construction of an international airport in Lachin district in 2022-26; construction of 7 of those projects has already been completed. In accordance with the program other road projects should be completed by 2026.
