May 31, Fineko/abc.az. Qatar Airways became the best airline in the world this year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the rating prepared by Australian agency AirlineRatings-com.

AirlineRatings.com specializes in assessing the safety and quality of passenger air transportation services and annually publishes the rating of the best airlines in the world.

In last year's ranking, Air New Zealand took the 1st place, but has now dropped to 4th.

Among the criteria for which AirlineRatings.com evaluates airlines - the age of the aircraft, the level of safety, the number of incidents, profitability, passenger reviews, the range of services offered, etc.

Korean Air took the 2nd place in the rating, and Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific Airways - 3rd place.

Top 10 also includes Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air France, All Nippon Airways, Qantas, and Virgin Australia/Atlantic.
