May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The question of who will reimburse the damage to the cars at AzParking has caused controversy.

ABC.AZ reports that a complaint in this regard was published on a social network.

The complaint notes that the citizen's car was scratched in the parking lot at AzParking. When he told the AzParking controllers about this, they replied that "they do not guard the cars".

”Then what are we paying to AzParking for?" the citizen asked.

In this regard, a request was sent to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).

Tural Orujev, a spokesman for the agency, said that AYNA is not responsible for any negative incident with a car in the parking lot.

"The management of parking spaces organized on state highways in the administrative territory of Baku city on the basis of new rules serves to establish discipline in this area, ensure financial transparency by preventing illegal fundraising.

Drivers who park their car in the parking lot do not pay for security, but for using the parking space. AYNA is not responsible for any negative situations related to the car in the parking lot. The presence of specially designated parking control officers at each site is not mandatory. There are signs indicating parking rules and payment at each parking lot. Drivers can carry out the parking process in accordance with the information on the information boards,” Orujev stressed.
