May 6, Fineko/abc.az. This April, the Baku metro transported 20,510,190 passengers, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Baku Metro CJSC. The indicator is 7.6% more versus April 2023.

According to average estimates, 683,673 passengers used the subway during the day. With the corresponding preferential privilege, the number of passengers using the subway free of charge reached 537,988 people.

During the month, the largest number of passengers entered the subway on April 16 (810,689) and the smallest — on April 7 (395,658).

During 10 non-working days of the fourth month of 2024, 4,818,724 passengers used the subway, or an average of 481,872 passengers per day (23.49% of all passengers transported during the month). During the 20 working days of April, 15,691,466 passengers used the subway (76.51% of all passengers). According to the average estimates, 784,573 passengers were transported on weekdays.
