May 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Cabinet Ministers has approved the amendments to the Rules for the Carriage of Passengers & Luggage by Road, approved by a decision dated September 17, 2009.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decision.

According to the decision, regular passenger transportation by buses with fewer than 23 seats will be allowed on international routes with length of more than 150 km.

In addition, the opening of regular routes in the country will be authorized by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), subordinate to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the opening of regular intercity passenger routes in the city of Shusha will be allowed after a joint inspection by the Administration of the Shusha City State Reserve and the Baku State Traffic Police Department.

The results of the inspection will be issued with an act, and the route passport with the necessary information will be prepared and certified by the relevant authorities.
