April 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan space agency Azercosmos (under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport) exported satellite telecommunications services for $4.7 million to 47 countries for Jan-Mar 2024, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the April issue of the Expert Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

According to the review, the figure is 7 more countries and $700,000 (13%) less against Jan-Mar 2023.

Over the past 3 months, Azercosmos' revenue from export of services made up 78% of its total earnings.

Top 5 of exports of satellite telecom services includes the UK ($1.5 million), Luxembourg ($966,800), the UAE ($339,800), Pakistan ($208,600) and Germany ($197,400).

In March alone, Azercosmos exported services to 43 countries for $1.7 million.
