April 30, Fineko/abc.az. Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder and honorary chairman of ruling party Georgian Dream, said that Georgia will join the European Union in 2030.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Ivanishvili, who spoke at a rally in front of the parliament building in Tbilisi, a free, independent, sovereign, united and integrated into the EU Georgia is "a Georgian dream that will definitely come true".

The politician promised that the country would overcome all obstacles, strengthen sovereignty, preserve peace, develop the economy and become a EU member in 2030.

Ivanishvili emphasized the uniqueness of the history and traditions of the Georgian nation and stressed that it makes sense to join the EU only with these unique national traditions of Georgia.
