April 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2024, Azerbaijan imported 19,571 cars from abroad for $361.2 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee, compared with Jan-Mar 2023, the number of cars imported into the country declined by 1,228 cars or by 5.9%, increasing in value terms for $46.29 million or by 14.6%. Over Jan-Mar 2023, the country imported 20,799 cars for $314.99 million.

The import price of 1 car for this period reached $18,447 (31,360 manats), and for Jan-Mar 2023 - $15,145 (25,746 manats). The import price has increased by $3,302 (5,614 manats) over the past year, that is, by 21.8%.
