April 4, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of this year, Baku Metro CJSC transported 53,514,865 passengers.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku that the figure is 1.6% more versus Q1 of 2023.

Compared to the 1st quarter of 2019, prior to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), passenger traffic on the subway decreased by 3.8%.

The largest number of passengers was transported on March 7 (848,934 people) and the smallest - on March 20 (272,984 people).

There were 15 working days last month. Every working day, except March 19, more than 700,000 passengers were transported. The average daily transportation was 758,499 people.
