March 7, Fineko/abc.az. The busiest airports in Europe have been published.

ABC.AZ reports that the rating was distributed by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol). According to the report, the Istanbul Airport was the busiest airport in Europe from February 26 to March 3.

According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked 1st among the busiest airports in Europe, operating an average of 1,321 flights per day during this period.

The Istanbul Airport is followed by airports Heathrow with 1,283 flights per day, Amsterdam Schiphol with 1,266 flights, Charles de Gaulle with 1,169 flights and Frankfurt with 1,131 flights.
