March 5, Fineko/abc.az. The share of the information & communications sector in GDP in 2023 was 1.7%, including the share of the non-oil sector - 2.8%, ABC.AZ informs with reference to Cabinet Ministers’ report for 2023.

 

The volume of services rendered in this area increased by 16.3% versus 2022 at comparable prices and reached 3.206 bn manats.

Of these services, 2.3 bn manats, or 71.8%, were consumed by the population, 2687.9 million manats, or 83.8%, by the non-governmental sector.

36.1% of revenue from services, or 1.158 bn manats, generated in the field of mobile telephony. The share of communication services in these services made up 70.3% or 2.254 bn manats.
