March 5, Fineko/abc.az. The competition for a license of nationwide terrestrial radio broadcaster has ended.

The Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan reports that the acceptance of the tender documentation, announced by the Council on January 23, 2024, has been completed.

Two license applicants submitted documents for the competition:

- Sağlam Media LLC (name of the radio channel: Sağlam Radio)

- Orion Sky (name of the radio channel: Həyat FM)

In accordance with Article 52.4 of the Law on Media, the submitted documents will be reviewed within the next 10 working days and decisions will be made on the admission of applicants to the competition or on refusal of admission to the competition.
