February 9, Fineko/abc.az. This January, 489,761 passengers used the services of the Baku Metro for free, ABC.AZ was informed at Baku Metro CJSC.

In the first month of 2024, the Baku Metro transported 17,252,693 passengers, which on average means 556,538 passengers per day.

The busiest day was January 12 — 687,779. On January 14, there were the least passengers in the subway – 351,455.

Compared with the same period before the pandemic in 2019 (7.1% less) than in January 2023 (0.3% less), the metro carried fewer passengers in the first month of 2024.
