February 5, Fineko/abc.az. On the initiative of two logistics companies, a case has been initiated in Azerbaijan against the sole operator of the state railways, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Service for Antimonopoly Control & Supervision of the Consumer Market that Alliance Logistics LLC, Caspian Rail LLC, took the initiative to investigate unfair competition and discrimination against freight forwarding companies operating in the field of railways, as well as unjustified refusal to cooperate. According to the State Service, it is linked with signs of violation of the requirements of Paragraphs 4 and 11 of Article 6, Paragraphs 7 and 8 of Article 8 of the Law  on Antimonopoly Activity, Part 2 of Article 5, Part 2 of Article 6 and Part 3 of Article 7 of the Law on Unfair Competition.
