February 1, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from today, the decision on the payment of recycling fees by drivers has come into force.

ABC.AZ reports that during the technical inspection of cars, drivers will pay a state duty for cars with release date of more than 10 years, as well as a recycling fee.

Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov has amended the Instruction on the rules of State Traffic Police’s control over technical condition of vehicles and ensuring their safe movement.

The decision established that when conducting state technical inspection of a vehicle in cases prescribed by law, drivers must have a document confirming payment of state duty, as well as a disposal fee established in accordance with the Law on Waste. However, during the state technical inspection, along with the state duty, a disposal fee must be paid.

The Cabinet Ministers approved the “Amount of the fee for the disposal of vehicles” and "The amount of the discount and one-time payment applied to the vehicle transferred for disposal".

In this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decision.
