January 26, Fineko/abc.az. It is expected that the digital economy strategy developed by the Ministry of Economy will be approved and launched this year.

ABC.AZ reports that Fariz Jafarov, executive director of the Center for Analysis & Coordination of the IV Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry, informed about this.

"The document was prepared within the framework of the event "Preparation & application of a strategy for the development of the digital economy" in the Strategy of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026. The digital economy strategy covers the period up to 2030. As part of its implementation, more than 60 projects will be implemented, 4SIM technologies will be widely used," he noted.

The digital economy strategy will serve the formation of a stable and competitive digital economy in the country, the transformation of Azerbaijan into one of the leading countries in the relevant field, measurement, as well as the coordinated development of the digital economy.
