January 24, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, persons who received the "badge of distinction" in Azerbaijan and engaged in cargo and passenger activities paid taxes to the State Budget in the amount of 5.917 million mantas, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport).

The indicator is 2.024 million manats, or 52% more than in 2022.

The number of "badges of distinction" issued to drivers increased by 30,410 badges (by 20%) up to 180,999 badges.

The proportion of insignia issued online during the year was 67.88%.
