January 22, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, Georgia exported 22,393 vehicles for $437.233 million to Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Office of National Statistics of Georgia.

Last year the total value of cars imported in Azerbaijan increased by $128.72 million or 41.72% compared with the previous year, and the number decreased by 8,059 vehicles or 26.46%.

In 2023, car exports became Georgia's main export sector. Last year, car exports from Georgia doubled versus the previous year and reached $2.126 bn.

20.5% of Georgian car exports accounted for Azerbaijan.
