January 8, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to finish construction of the ring metro network by 2040.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Baku City Master Plan until 2040.

The Master Plan says that it is planned to create a ring metro network that allows simultaneous movement in opposite directions, achieve full rail coverage of the eastern part of the city, strengthen rail transit links, and create new transit hubs based on the metro.
