January 8, Fineko/abc.az. The manufacture of motor vehicles in the industrial zones of Azerbaijan in 2023 grew by 109% or 2.1-fold against 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on his account on social network X.

"Positive dynamics is observed at car manufacturing enterprises in the industrial zones of Azerbaijan. Production of cars in industrial zones began in 2018, a total of 712 cars were produced that year. In 2023, that number was 4,233. This means an increase of 109% compared to 2022," he said.
