December 18, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to replace buses with electric buses in Baku next year.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Digital Development & Transport Rahman Gummatov stated about this during the presentation of the mobility transformation program in Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan will host COP29 next year. Starting from next year, we will see new electric buses on the streets of Baku more often," Gummatov said.

In addition, speaking about the problem of buses on existing route lines, Gummatov added that currently about 400 buses in Baku do not meet modern requirements.
