December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Türkiye will expand its railway network from 13,919 km up to 17,011 km, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Turkish Ministry of Transport & Infrastructure.

Projects in this regard are nearing completion. A roadmap for new lines with a length of 2,452 km has also already been defined.

Railway line Kars-Igdyr-Aralyk-Diluju (Zangezur) is of strategic importance among the common projects. The length of the line will be 224 km.
