December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) has received two FLIRT diesel trains from Swiss company Stadler Rail Group.

ABC.AZ reports that an agreement with Stadler Rail Group on the supply of 6 electric and 4 diesel FLIRT trains to Azerbaijan was reached in November 2019.

Single-deck trains consist of 5 carriages each, and can accommodate from 236 to 270 passengers.

The new trains are equipped with Fluidmesh technology, which provides passengers with fast and uninterrupted Internet access. The multimedia system will also allow passengers to watch various entertainment programs, which will leave a pleasant impression of the trip. Another advantage of the new Flirt trains is the presence of a bar car in them. During trips to the regions, passengers can purchase hot and cold drinks and snacks.
