11:55 - 14.12.2023

December 14, Fineko/abc.az. JLR (known as Jaguar Land Rover) has announced world's first electric Range Rover.

Even before its official debut, the British luxury brand had already started accepting pre-orders from customers.

The British manufacturer, now owned by India's Tata Motors, has confirmed that all prototypes are undergoing one of the toughest testing programs ever conducted by the company in order to absolutely guarantee the possibility of operation under any conditions.

Land Rover emphasizes that the Range Rover Electric will be able to overcome water obstacles up to 850 mm deep.

In addition, the company positions it as "the quietest and most refined Range Rover in its entire history, while offering power comparable to a V8 engine".

The zero-emission Range Rover Electric will be built on the same modular MLA platform as the internal combustion engine versions. Fast charging support will be made possible by using architecture 800 V.
