Iran has abolished visa regime with 32 countries

December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Minister of Cultural Heritage, Crafts & Tourism  Ezzatollah Zarghami stated that after a Cabinet meeting in Tehran, he submitted to the government a proposal to unilaterally cancel visas to some countries in order to revive tourism.

ABC.AZ reports that the minister noted that the proposal has already been approved by the Council of Ministers.

Stating that the government accepted the proposal and decided to open the doors to the world, Arkami said that it was a very brave and considered decision made by the government.

The Iranian minister did not say for which of the 32 countries the decision was made to cancel the unilateral visa, but the Tehran administration decided to introduce unilateral visa emancipation for Chinese tourists in June 2019.
