Your data may be intercepted - Electronic Security Service warns citizens

December 11, Fineko/abc.az. Application updates play an important role in device security. Sensitive data is better protected when updating applications, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Electronic Security Service.

The ESS report notes that if the latest version is not updated, cybercriminals can take advantage of gaps in the current version of applications to hijack the device and personal data.

"We recommend deleting unused applications," the SEB said.
