December 8, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) may start flights to Baghdad, Iraq, as well as to Erbil and Basra.

ABC.AZ reports that Minister of Digital Development & Transport Rashad Nabiyev wrote about this on his account on social network X.

"Within the visit to Iraq, we met with the Minister of Transport of this country, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi. We discussed the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of international freight and road transport. We considered the issue of AZAL launch a flight from Baku to Baghdad and Erbil from this month and to Basra from April next year," he said on X.
