November 27, Fineko/abc.az. In order to make longer use of the existing experience of military personnel, the minimum requirement for service to retire as a serviceman is being increased.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Laws on the Status of Military Personnel, on Approval of the Regulation on Military Service, on Labor Pensions, on Military Duty & Military Service, submitted to Milli Majlis.

It is proposed to increase the minimum length of service for retirement as a serviceman from 20 to 25 calendar years.

This change implies an increase in the pension provision of military personnel of a number of bodies.
