November 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 81,206 cars for $1.37 billion.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that car imports grew by 66% in value terms and by 33.6% in quantitative terms.

Over Jan-Oct 2022, Azerbaijan imported 60,790 motor vehicles for $829,300.

Country’s import of automobiles reached 56,092 cars for Jan-Oct 2022 and 75,058 cars for Jan-Oct 2023.

Of those cars, 11,769 vehicles for $295.531 million are driven by electric motor, as well as internal combustion engine, and 2,425 vehilces for $98.3 million by electric motor alone.
