October 31, Fineko/abc.az. As part of presentation Scary Fast, at which Apple announced the new generation of proprietary processors, updated models of MacBook Pro were also presented – 14-inch and 16-inch versions.
ABC.AZ reports that the design of laptops has remained almost unchanged, but there have been significant updates inside computers.
Now they are equipped with powerful processors M3 Pro and M3 Max, offering high-performance and energy-efficient cores. This allows performing both complex and less resource-intensive tasks, even while saving battery power.
All these chips were created using 3-nanometer process technology TSMC, which led to increase in their computing power and reduction in energy consumption. The chips turned out to be 2.5-fold more powerful than previous generation M1, and surpassed the M2 models 1.8-fold.
Thanks to M3 Max chip, MacBook Pro now supports up to 128 GB of unified memory – a new maximum for Apple laptops.
