October 30, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, the amount of compulsory medical insurance (CHI) in Azerbaijan will be taken at the rate of 122.9 manats per capita.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in Accounts Chamber’s conclusion on the Bill on State Budget 2024.

The conclusion says that increase in the population's spending on compulsory medical insurance at the expense of state funds is linked with the likely increase in the population next year and the fact that, in accordance with the expected inflation at the end of this year, the amount of compulsory medical insurance will be taken at the rate of 122.9 manats per capita.

It is planned to allocate AZN 1.376 billion from State Budget 2024 to the compulsory medical insurance fund (AZN 112.2 million (8.9%) more than the revised budget of the current year).
