October 18, Fineko/abc.az. An aircraft that has crossed the state border of Azerbaijan without a permit, violated the rules of flights over the state border or otherwise violated the rules of use of the airspace of the Republic of Azerbaijan may be landed without fail at the request of the body (institution) established by the relevant executive authority.

ABC.AZ reports that the matter is reflected in the Draft Law on Aviation, discussed at today’s meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

In the cases provided for in Article 8.1 of this draft law, after the landing of the aircraft that violated the flight rules and the clarification of the reasons for the violation, continuation of its flight is allowed by the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority (body), in accordance with the procedure established by the relevant executive authority (body).

The destruction of an aircraft is allowed in case of non-compliance with special landing requirements without fail, lack of proper information about presence of passengers on board who are not guilty of committing a violation, or if necessary, self-defense.
