Škoda presents a new car

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. Škoda has officially introduced the second generation of crossover Kodiaq.

ABC.AZ reports that the flagship crossover of Czech brand has become larger and more spacious compared with its predecessor.

The length of new Kodiaq is 4,758 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,791 mm. This makes it 61 mm longer than the first generation and 110 mm longer than electric Skoda Enyaq.

The dashboard is equipped with 12.9-inch touch screen of the infotainment system, as well as 10.25-inch digital instrument panel screen and projection display.

The new Kodiaq is built on an improved version of MQB architecture, retaining gasoline and diesel powertrains. The rechargable hybrid is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with one electric motor with total power plant capacity of 204 hp. The battery with capacity of 25.7 kWh provides power reserve of 100 km on electric traction and supports fast DC charging with power of up to 50 kW.

Power is transmitted exclusively to the front axle via 6-speed DSG automatic transmission. Cars with 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI engines with capacity of 150-204 hp can be both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Regardless of the motor, all cars are equipped with DSG robotic transmission.
