ABC.AZ reports that Turkish Industry & Technology Minister Ahmet Yozgatlygil stated about during his speech at an event organized by the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan within the International Astronautics Congress.

He also spoke about the importance of the Congress: "We are glad to be in Baku, a very important conference was organized at the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center. We are carrying out very important cooperation and meetings here. Our Azerbaijani brothers support us in this context, share their experience with us. The result of our candidacy will be announced on Friday. Together we will develop a satellite and send it into space. In general, we will implement joint projects. Azercosmos is leading in this matter. We, as Turkic states, will demonstrate our presence in space," he added.
